Available to answer questions related to infrastructure (including street design), engineering, water availability, erosion control, and similar topics.

Supervises utility departments (specifically water service) and is available to answer questions related to water quality, flow rates, capacity, and service questions

Handles questions related to fire suppression in current and proposed buildings, as well as fire equipment access on a site and fire inspections.

National Inspection Corporation is a third-party contractor that acts as the building department for the City of Monroe.  Code-specific questions should be directed to NIC at 937-433-4642.  However, building permit and plan drop off is handled through the Development Department at the City Building.
